Too long, the new year period starting from late November, all the way to the Lunar New Year at mid February.
Let's count all the major shopping events between:
Meanwhile, the day job often becomes more tangled and took longer, plus more seemingly-dire tasks queuing up. When the day is near, the festival preparation may cost another big/small chunk of week. Next, it's people busy reunion, party, eat&drink, and driving to the next stop.
And finally it's all settled down, if lucky, perhaps a few day left to recharge, then the usual work days goes on.
