Good Movies

• The Matrix (1999) Not the trilogy, just the first one. To me, the story ends there.
• Inception (2010) Nice plot, nice music, nice visual.
• The Old Man and the Sea (1999) A 1999 paint-on-glass-animated short film directed by Russian animator Aleksandr Petrov.

Good Games

• Braid That one button you'd love to have in all games.
• Factorio Excellent programing, runs very smooth, also fun to play. It's almost a programming language with graphical syntax.
• Stephen's Sausage Roll Just play till you meet the sausage tower...
• Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Did most of the things right, good graphic with no lag, fun but deep game mechanic, strange but reasonable story.
• Dragon's Dogma It's a fun open world ARPG with good control and interesting lore, not many RPG can reach this level. The "pawn" system almost created the illusion of playing with "stupid" teammates, like playing LAN Monster Hunter.

Good Talks

• Ideas about a new programming language for games. A bunch of truth about the state of general programming right now, spoiler: it's not good enough, in almost every way. Note there's a part2 video, and watch on, if you're interested.
• HandmadeCon 2015 - Pat Wyatt Server, multiplayer, prevent crashing and outage, pick three. It's a relief to know what simple and logical actually works well in places small and big.
• HandmadeCon 2015 - Mike Acton What a Con! So much good talks, glad I didn't miss those. A good chat about what fits was good, pushing quality down to the base level, and practice.
